Meet Our Team

Gloria M. Barzi received her DDS from Tehran University in 1994. After moving to the United States in 1998, she attended the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and obtained her DMD in 2002. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Barzi established her own practice and has been providing caring and compassionate dental care and oral health services to the community for the past 20 years.

Outside the office, Dr. Barzi is kept busy by her two college-age children, a chocolate lab and three cats. She is a keen cyclist and has twice completed the 85-mile Pan Mass Challenge raising over $5,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in 2018 and 2019. When she is not cycling, you will find her cooking or walking laps of the Brookline Reservoir.

Dr. Gyusik Cho provides high-quality periodontal care for our patients. He received his Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University in 2005, then went on to pursue his Doctor of Dental Science from New York University College of Dentistry, graduating in 2012. He then received his Master of Science and Periodontal Certificate in 2015 from Boston University.

Every year, Dr. Cho continues to keep up to date on new techniques and procedures that will benefit patients and their smiles. He has received advanced training from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, completed his post-graduate periodontology program in 2015 and has a certificate in periodontology. Dr. Cho’s goal is to treat every single patient with care.

Dr. Cho is a member of the American Association of Periodontology® and Massachusetts Dental Society.

Dr. Cho’s primary focus of treatment is on non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy such as osseous surgery, crown lengthening, bone grafting, soft tissue surgery and implants. He has been practicing in the area since 2015, where he lives with his wife and child. They love to travel and spend time together.

Deanna is a native Bostonian, born and raised just north of the city. After graduating from high school, she attended Everest Institute where she earned her degree in dental assisting in 2008. Since then, she has held a dental assistant license, fulfilling her CPR, radiology and OSHA infection control requirements. She also works at the front office working with insurances and submitting claims to ensure you are utilizing your dental benefits adequately. Outside the office, Deanna enjoys travelling on cruises and spending time with her family and friends.

Jill is a seasoned dental hygienist and is happy to be a part of Dr. Barzi’s dental team. While her roots are in Michigan where she completed her dental hygiene education, her professional journey has unfolded in the great city of Boston. With years of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice, where her focus extends beyond routine cleanings to foster meaningful patient interactions and education.

Beyond the office, her interests reflect a love for creativity and nature. She is an avid photographer and spends her time exploring new places and has recently gotten into aquascaping and watercolor painting. At home, she has two Toybob cats, Andy and Brando, who bring her an extra dose of joy.

Prior to entering the field of dentistry, Marika was a professional ballerina and holds a master’s degree in economics from Tbilisi State University. She became interested in dentistry and was accepted into the dental program at Mount Ida College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene. She has been a successful clinical provider for over 17 years.

Felicia graduated with a degree in science and business management from Mount Ida College. She has been a clinical assistant in most fields of dentistry including periodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, pedodontics and general dentistry. The majority of her career she has spent serving the Brookline community. With her being in the dental profession for over 30 years, it is easy to say
that her patients have become her friends.
